But for sheer genius and 8 years earlier look no further than Vangelis of Blade Runner fame.

This is one of the few video clips I know of and in this Vangelis is improvising on the spot with no score sheet, no idea of what he's going to play next or where this is going.

Jarre was doing this in the late 70s Vangelis was working on synth stuff in the early 70s!!!

Then in the late 90s an Irish muppet decided he'd have a go :)
