Should anyone posting a list of people they think are experts HAVE to make sure they include female experts. What if I my list of experts honestly doesn’t include any women? Not because of any sexist discrimination but the expertise in those particular areas are dominated by males or shock horror the expert in that field is male?
Or how about the other way around, I post a list of experts that are all women because they are the best in their fields. Am I to be accused of pandering, deliberately listing women experts to be politically correct?
James ends up at one point saying “I obviously have to *clarify* things very carefully from now on not to step on very sensitive toes. Sheesh, so much for blogging being a form of thinking out loud
”
